The tea gathering experience in the evening at the authentic tea room with the subtle and profound atmosphere.
This is a kind of traditional style of tea gathering in the evening which is enjoyed with Japanese candle light, seeing its light and shade, and feel the subtle and profound atmosphere at the tea room, Seitansai, supervised by Sen So’oku, the 15th Generation Successor of Mushakouji Senkeschool. The tea room existed in the town indicates ‘the mountain abode in the city’ as a wabi rustic ideal which feels like entering the other world apart from everyday life. Japanese people always appreciate beautiful nature and we will express them in the tea gathering serving a sweet and tea with the tea utensils created by craftworkers in Nara.
